About

Family, Career & Community Leaders of America is a dynamic and effective student organization that helps young men and women become strong leaders in families, careers and communities. FCCLA provides students with hands-on experiences in learning, practicing and applying leadership strengths. Members are affiliated with the national organization, and are involved in community, school & personal development projects. These projects include volunteering in local elementary schools with exceptional education students, fundraising projects, a 9/11 hero recognition school project, and planning holiday and end-of-the-year functions. Participants compete in district and state competitions, as well as the Polk County Youth Fair.
